Art Director

Job Description
Only qualified Art Director candidates located near Manhattan, New York to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities

8–10+ years of experience in art direction within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands

Strong portfolio showcasing campaign development and premium product storytelling

Experience leading both still‑life and on‑figure photo shoots and working closely with photographers and stylists

Deep understanding of Beauty category trends and consumer behavior

Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills

Beauty experience is a must

Experience doing retouching notes, experience doing concept decks and being able to concept for varying amounts of product assortments

Preferred Experience

Experience in art directing still‑life photoshoots is a plus.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead concept development and visual direction for Beauty campaigns and launches

Oversee art direction for photography, video, print and digital executions

Partner with Marketing, Product, and Creative teams to ensure cohesive storytelling

Maintain and evolve the Beauty visual identity across seasonal and evergreen initiatives
