Business Development Professional

We are a well-established commercial janitorial service and facility maintenance company seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to expand our portfolio in the Denver, Front Range, and surrounding markets. Unlike franchises or subcontracting firms, we provide direct, high-quality services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience and a strong track record in direct service sales, particularly to property managers and facility managers of single and multi-tenant buildings. Additional target markets include education, healthcare, and municipal sectors.

We also welcome candidates with experience in property management or other facility-related services who understand the complexities of selling a conceptual service package.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to develop and lead a business development team, driving growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Experience:

2-5 years of proven sales success with measurable achievements.

Sales Skills:

Strong lead generation, cold calling, and closing abilities.

Marketing:

A strong marketing background is a plus.

CRM Proficiency:

Ability to work within a CRM system, report daily activity, and forecast sales.

Market Development:

Drive growth in existing markets and expand into new ones.

Team Leadership:

Ability to develop and mentor a team of business development professionals.

Strategic Planning:

Understand market segments and develop targeted sales strategies.

Client Engagement:

Schedule appointments, conduct presentations, and provide consistent follow-up.

RFP & Technical Writing:

Strong proposal writing skills are essential.

Site Analysis:

Attend RFP walkthroughs and accurately assess specifications.

Professionalism:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor.

Technical Proficiency:

Computer literacy and proficiency in business tools.

Networking:

Participate in industry events and trade organization meetings.

Drive & Determination:

A goal-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to success.

Background Check:

Must be able to pass a background check.
