We are currently seeking a

skilled WordPress Web Developer/Designer Intern

to join our

Web Development & IT

team to build and maintain websites that advance our organizational mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites using

Elementor

page builder
Create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and prioritize development needs
Perform regular website updates, content management, and file backups
Edit and create website content while directing team members in content production
Test and debug code to ensure compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating systems
Analyze technical requirements and determine user needs for optimal functionality
Stay current with latest web development practices and WordPress updates
Ideal Candidate:
Currently a

junior/senior

or

graduate student

in Web Development, Computer Science, or related field, OR high school graduate with 3+ years professional experience
Strong working knowledge of

WordPress

and

Elementor

site builder
Proficiency in

JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Understanding of open source resources and nonprofit integration
Experience building complete WordPress websites preferred
Knowledge of cybersecurity management is a plus
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Must align with WoMen of Connections Ministry's mission and vision
