Job Summary
The Marketing Manager plays a vital role in driving and supporting marketing initiatives and enhancing brand visibility. This position involves assisting social media management, content creation, market research, and event coordination. The Marketing Manager collaborates with upper management, contributing to the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Develop engaging and visually appealing content for Maldonado social media platforms (i.e., images, videos, and written content)
- Regularly update and monitor all Maldonado social media accounts. Schedule posts, respond to comments/messages, and interact with followers to maintain a strong online community.
- Monitor trends and implement best practices for each platform.
- Collaborate with media companies to create high-quality content that showcases our brand and projects.
Photography and Project Documentation:
- Capture high-quality photos of job progress, completed projects, and events monthly, showcasing the team's accomplishments and milestones.
- Document project details and accomplishments through compelling visuals, contributing to company website and various platforms.
Website Maintenance:
- Ensure the company website is consistently up-to-date with the latest content, including service information, news, and events.
- Collaborate with our outsourced website designer as needed.
- Optimize the website for user experience and search engine visibility.
External Client Monthly Newsletters:
- Craft engaging monthly newsletters highlighting company updates, educational content, client spotlights, interactive content, community engagement, etc.
- Gather relevant content, design visually appealing layouts, and distribute newsletters via email.
Promotional Items Management:
- Oversee the ordering and distribution of promotional items for Business Development and Sales teams, ensuring adequate stock levels and selecting items that align with Maldonado’s branding and company values.
- Research and recommend innovative promotional items that leave a lasting impression on clients and partners.
Incentive Program Coordination:
- Coordinate sales team incentives, ensuring seamless execution.
- Schedule travel arrangements for top performers using Expedia services.
- Manage the purchasing and distribution of gift cards for incentive programs.
- Oversaw biweekly award initiatives, ensuring timely recognition for outstanding performance.
Marketing & Sales Administrative Support:
- Offer marketing support to management, business development, and sales teams by creating promotional content as needed.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our landscape services and establish brand presence in the market.
- Nominate the company for awards with the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association (TNLA) and National Landscape Association (NALP).
- Participate in sales meetings.
- Coordinate shirt embroidery services, handling drop-offs and pickups efficiently.
- Managing the process of procuring business cards for company staff members.
- Monitor and manage online reviews and ratings on platforms like Google.
Qualifications we're looking for:
-5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a marketing manager, marketing lead, or senior specialist role
-Experience supporting multi-location operations, field services, construction, landscaping, home services, B2B services, or similar operational businesses
-Experience managing multiple marketing channels simultaneously (digital, print, events, social, email, vendor management)
-Willing to sit onsite full-time Monday-Friday
