CRE Relationship Manager

Responsibilities
Build and grow a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and client relationships across the D.C. market
Actively prospect and source new lending opportunities in the market
Underwrite your own deals, analyze the property, assess the borrower, and make credit recommendations independently
Put together deal proposals and present them to internal credit committee for approval
Negotiate loan terms, work through documentation, and drive deals to closing
Partner with internal teams and external legal counsel throughout the closing process
Cross sell additional bank products to existing clients
Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and networking function
Qualifications
5+ years of experience specifically in commercial real estate relationship management or lending
Ability to underwrite deals independently without heavy support
Strong presentation skills, comfortable in front of credit committees and clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
Proficient in CoStar, Argus, Moody's CreditLens, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
