Job Description
The Associate Director, Urology Key Accounts Manager (UKAM) serves as the primary point of contact between our Company and large community urology group practices. The role establishes our Company as an industry leader, supports healthcare partners, improves patient health outcomes, and is a trusted resource.
Role
This position is responsible for accounts in the Great Plains region (Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin). Candidates should reside in this geography and be willing to travel for in‑person client meetings.
Primary Activities & Responsibilities
Leadership
Build and maintain trust through effective communication, integration, and collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
Lead through challenging situations, prioritize tasks by urgency, impact, and resources, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
Influence others and lead without authority, fostering collaborative problem‑solving and consensus.
Clinical Proficiency
Understand the product portfolio to provide approved disease and product information to key decision makers.
Maximize appropriate utilization of the portfolio while delivering resources that improve patient outcomes.
Align with external quality initiatives and tailor responses to customers’ needs using approved Company resources.
Know treatment decision factors, protocols, sites of care, guidelines, and quality initiatives.
Business Acumen
Use internal data and analytics to assess account performance and identify engagement opportunities.
Understand account ecosystems, emerging market trends, and create coordinated, longitudinal account plans.
Apply knowledge of the B2B market, competitive landscape, and industry trends for effective messaging with healthcare business partners.
Coordinate across local account teams to ensure contract pull‑through and address local contract requests.
Operational / Account Management
Establish strategic account approaches aligned with approved marketing guidance.
Build trust and relationships with key decision makers, identify customer goals, and propose aligned resources.
Understand access points and stakeholders influencing enterprise access.
Use approved tools to capture, share, and communicate customer information internally.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA, or BSN) or high‑school diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience (sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific).
At least 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences sales, account management, or managed care.
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to travel ~50%.
Ability to develop relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders.
Financial acumen to communicate value proposition and negotiate.
Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures.
Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MSN, or PharmD).
Local market relationships and knowledge within the oncology‑urology specialty.
Current account management experience in large community urology group practices.

Benefits & Compensation
Salary range: $190,800.00 – $300,300.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, insurance, retirement (401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
