Job Description
The Associate Director, Urology Key Accounts Manager (UKAM) is the primary liaison between the Company and large community urology group practices across the Great Plains region. The role involves establishing the Company as an industry leader, supporting healthcare partners, improving patient health outcomes, and becoming a trusted resource.

Geography
Accounts fall within the Great Plains geography covering eight states:

Arizona

Colorado

Minnesota

Nebraska

Iowa

North Dakota

South Dakota

Wisconsin

The candidate should reside within this area and be willing to travel to meet customers in person.

Primary Activities & Responsibilities
Leadership

Builds and maintains trust with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers through effective communication, integration, and collaboration.

Leads through challenging and ambiguous situations while ensuring deadlines and objectives are met by prioritizing tasks based on urgency, impact, and resource availability.

Influences others and leads without authority during complex situations, fostering collaborative problem‑solving and reaching consensus.

Clinical Proficiency

Understands the Company’s product portfolio to provide approved disease and product information to key decision makers.

Maximizes appropriate utilization of the portfolio while offering resources that contribute to better patient outcomes.

Aligns and tailors responses to external quality initiatives, using approved Company resources and messaging.

Has knowledge of protocols, sites of care, guidelines, or quality initiatives that influence treatment decisions.

Business Acumen

Uses internal data and analytics to understand account performance and spot opportunities for engagement.

Familiar with account ecosystems, emerging market trends, and business dynamics, developing coordinated account plans.

Understands the B2B market dynamics, including competitive landscape and economic influences.

Coordinates with local account teams to ensure contract pull‑through and address local contract requests.

Operational/Account Management

Establishes strategic approach to each account aligned with marketing guidance.

Builds trust and relationships with key decision makers and influencers to understand their objectives and challenges.

Identifies and deploys approved resources that match customer needs and captures, shares, and communicates account insights internally.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA, or BSN) or a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific fields.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, sales, account management, or managed care.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Proven ability to build and develop meaningful relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders.

Financial acumen with the ability to communicate value proposition and negotiate when applicable.

Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse cultures and disciplines.

Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in cross‑functional, matrix organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MSN, or PharmD).

Local market relationships and customer knowledge within oncology‑urology specialties.

Current account management experience in large community urology group practices.

Salary and Compensation
Salary range: $190,800.00 – $300,300.00. A position within this range will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other factors. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive when applicable.
