Senior Copywriter

Join 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. and help bring some of the most beloved food and gifting brands to life through compelling, high-performing content.

Write compelling, conversion-focused copy across email, web, social, paid media, and catalog

Translate marketing briefs into clear, engaging messaging tailored to different audiences and channels

Maintain and adapt brand voice across multiple food brands

Partner closely with design, CRM, and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life

Review and refine copy through feedback cycles, ensuring accuracy and quality

Manage a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment

Contribute to campaign messaging and content ideation as needed

5–7+ years of experience in copywriting, content, or editorial roles

Strong portfolio showcasing marketing and digital copy

Experience writing for multiple channels (email, web, social, etc.)

Ability to balance brand storytelling with performance marketing goals

Highly detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Collaborative, adaptable, and open to feedback

Experience in food, retail, or DTC brands is a plus

Hybrid role based in Jericho, NY (4 days onsite)

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $35.00 to $40.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
