2nd Shift Production Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring a safe work environment, efficient output, and consistent quality. This role supports a small team and maintains smooth communication between shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Safety oversight

- Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Production management

- Meet production goals, monitor workflow, and support continuous improvement.
Team leadership

- Supervise nine hourly employees, promote fairness, and maintain morale.
Troubleshooting

- Address quality issues, machine concerns, and operational disruptions.
Cross-department communication

- Coordinate with shipping, receiving, purchasing, and customer service.
Shift documentation

- Complete accurate shift summaries and ensure smooth handoff to the next shift.
Maintenance reporting

- Submit work orders for machine issues and oversee cleanup schedules.
Schedule

Standard hours:

1pm-10pm, Monday-Friday
Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a multi-shift environment and collaborate with production teams #JDP
