2nd Shift Production Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring a safe work environment, efficient output, and consistent quality. This role supports a small team and maintains smooth communication between shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Safety oversight — Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Production management — Meet production goals, monitor workflow, and support continuous improvement.

Team leadership — Supervise nine hourly employees, promote fairness, and maintain morale.

Troubleshooting — Address quality issues, machine concerns, and operational disruptions.

Cross‑department communication — Coordinate with shipping, receiving, purchasing, and customer service.

Shift documentation — Complete accurate shift summaries and ensure smooth handoff to the next shift.

Maintenance reporting — Submit work orders for machine issues and oversee cleanup schedules.

Schedule

Standard hours:

1pm–10pm, Monday–Friday

Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work in a multi‑shift environment and collaborate with production teams
