Inside Sales Key Account Manager

Northern Safety Company is looking for an Inside Sales Key Account Manager in Frankfort, NY.
Are you a sales driven individual who enjoys cultivating relationships? We are looking for professional inside sales key account managers to represent the company over the phone!
The primary mission of this position is to call, qualify and cultivate lead accounts while representing the entire range of company products and services with the focus on reaching out to unmanaged customers to potentially be managed by a Key Account Manager or a Field Account Manager.
Expectations of the Role:
Prioritize and schedule sales calls, send personalized emails to every buyer within the customer account lead base and cleanse buyer and shipping information.
Build new buyers and key decision makers on each account as a KPI to increase the number of potential buyers per account.
Present, prepared value propositions to each account to get a better understanding of their needs and how NSI can become a bigger supplier.
Hunt and cultivate new business from lead generation efforts with existing and brand new NSI customers.
Be empowered to make critical business decisions by exercising independent judgement that involves, pricing, presenting, negotiating and discussing Northern Safety's Inside Sales Value Proposition
Consult with customers to offer them product and service based solutions to assist the customer with their business and purchasing needs.
Review and analyze various reports utilizing MS Excel to identify sales potential, trends and areas of opportunities within a specific customer base.
Respond to customer requests for placing orders, research products and high volume quoting submitted by fax, phone or e-mail. Follow up on all quotes, samples or literature requests.
Prospect new buyers on existing accounts and new accounts within a specific territory and forecast sales potential on a monthly basis
Proficient in CRM Software and capable of logging all customer activities in an organized fashion. Activities include but not limited to; communications, opportunities, proactive campaigns and all follow up activities.
Demonstrate the understanding of how to present and position the value of NS Brand Products, new manufacturer product lines and Northern Safety's e-commerce platform to gain additional business
Will be proficient in the PPE and Industrial products sourced through Northern Safety and will continuously participate in advanced product training
Skills and Experience we like to see:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior phone sales and customer service experience

Highly energetic and self-starter

Feels comfortable making critical business decisions aligned with growth initiatives

Highly proficient computer and typing skills, which include but not limited to, MS Office programs and typing at least 35 wpm

Able to work in an ever changing environment and feel comfortable shifting priorities

Should be honest, assertive, systematic with great customer service qualities

Self-motivated and competitive

Understand business and sales principles

Persistent, organized with a sense of urgency

Ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of a customer's organization

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
We offer a competitive base pay + bonus pay, no weekends on day shift. This position comes with extensive 6 months training along with ongoing continuous developmental training.
