divh2Sales Representative/h2pSells new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers while providing excellent customer service./ppResponsibilities:/pulliRepresents the company for the sale of machinery to all customers in a defined sales area./liliMaintains all customer information in assigned territory by entering customer contact information daily in Customer Relationship Management program./liliRepresents the company for the sale of machinery to walk-in customers, takes sales leads and forwards information to the appropriate salesman./liliMaintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership./liliMonitors trends in customers business activities and provides timely communication to management./liliMonitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management./liliFollows up on all leads and referrals./liliPrepares sales presentations, proposals and completes all paperwork in a timely fashion./liliMaintains current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes./liliMaintains assigned company vehicles and equipment./liliAssists with the preparation and execution of customer events./liliConducts equipment field demonstrations./liliMaintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods./liliAttends company sales meetings and participates in meeting discussion./liliAttends applicable sales training events/seminars./liliKnows and follows a defined sales process./liliDisplays a positive attitude and optimism when taking on new tasks./liliCooperates with all employees in all departments and communicates effectively to ensure a productive work environment./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliExcellent customer relationship skills./lili1+ years equipment sales experience./liliKnowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred./liliAbility to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions./liliSolid organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills./liliAbility to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers./liliValid drivers license./liliAssociates degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience required./liliBachelors Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience preferred./liliAbility to analyze and interpret basic sales reports./li/ul/div
