CEREMONIAL BAND DIRECTOR

Duties:
Direct the band in musical warm-up.
Ensure other musical and sound needs are met as they relate to the performance of the band.
Set up and clean-up of music area to include instruments, music stands, etc. upon completion of rehearsals and performances.
Direct all musicians in the performance of the band .
Direct the band in no less than two (2) rehearsals per week.
Lead the band in warm-up.
Rehearsals shall be at least one (1) hour in duration.
Direct the band in no less than two (2) rehearsals per week.

Qualifications:
The applicant shall be able to read music and arrange music according to the skill of a musician of similar education and experience.
Education/Experience:
A minimum of two years (2 years) experience.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Music from an accredited institution is encouraged.
