ELAs within in-person composition courses assist students with all phases of written assignments (from invention to drafting to revising), and they also support student success through outreach (checking in with students and making sure students understand course content, LMS navigation, and assignments). ELAs receive mentorship from the instructor and the ELA initiative point-person.
