The Role

We're hiring a Director of Marketing to lead marketing strategy and execution across our restaurant portfolio. This is a corporate leadership role reporting directly to the founders, with budget authority, hiring authority, and the mandate to build the marketing function as we scale.

You'll own marketing for Landmark Bar & Kitchen across all three locations, support Baila and Arianna marketing, and drive private and corporate event revenue across the portfolio.

You'll inherit a Social Media Content Manager who covers all three Landmark locations and our festival company — your job is to give them clear creative direction, brand voice, and content strategy. As you build the playbook, you'll hire additional team members underneath you.


Core Responsibilities

  • Own marketing strategy and execution for Landmark Bar & Kitchen (Fort Worth, Addison, Lubbock)
  • Lead pre-opening marketing for Landmark Lubbock (opening August 2026 — first priority)
  • Build and execute a private and corporate events sales program across all venues
  • Direct and manage the Social Media Content Manager across Landmark and festival brands
  • Develop promotional calendars, campaigns, and activations that drive traffic and comp sales
  • Own marketing strategy and execution for Baila & Arianna
  • Manage influencer partnerships, local marketing, and community engagement
  • Manage marketing budgets and report ROI to the founders
  • Hire and lead additional marketing team members as the portfolio grows
  • Partner with GMs and unit managers to execute on the ground


Who We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience in restaurants, bars, or hospitality
  • Multi-unit and/or multi-concept experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of launching new restaurant or hospitality concepts
  • Player-coach mentality — you set strategy AND personally execute the work in year one
  • Sales-minded — comfortable building and closing a private/corporate events sales program
  • Strong social media and content instincts; experience directing creative teams
  • Fluent in digital marketing fundamentals — paid social (Meta, TikTok), email marketing, SEO basics, and the ability to brief and manage outside vendors for anything beyond your direct skill set
  • Analytically driven — comfortable reading performance data and reporting ROI clearly to founders, not just shipping campaigns
  • Disciplined with budget — track record of managing marketing budgets and showing measurable return on spend
  • Builder mentality — comfortable creating systems where none exist
  • Operator mindset — understands hospitality economics, not just marketing theory
  • Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-moving, non-corporate environment

  • Strategy-only marketers who expect to delegate execution — this role is part strategy, part hands-on execution

Compensation & Growth

  • $70,000–$75,000 base salary
