Sales Specialist

Lucid Motors is looking for a Sales Specialist to work in a Lucid Studio and act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales process, from initial engagement to successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement : Conduct needs assessments, provide product expertise, and deliver personalized solutions to prospective buyers.

Educate customers on Lucid’s positioning versus competitors through knowledge of competitor models, pricing, and packages.

Build and nurture customer relationships to foster brand loyalty.

Maintain a disciplined pipeline, using Salesforce to track interactions and ensure consistent engagement.

Meet and exceed performance targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Conduct test drives and articulate key selling points.

Guide customers through the end‑to‑end transition from order to delivery—supporting financing/leasing applications, monitoring status, and facilitating payment at signing.

Coordinate delivery, registration, and post‑sales support with Lucid Financial Services and Delivery teams.

Assist with daily operations as needed.

Communication

Use exceptional oral and written communication skills to convey relevant information clearly.

Maintain regular communication with customers during waiting periods before delivery.

Employ active listening techniques to provide helpful solutions.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant sales experience in a commission‑based environment, including pipeline management.

Experience in retail automotive sales and desk work highly desired.

Availability for flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).

Track record of achieving individual sales goals.

Passion for electric vehicles and the premium vehicle market.

Excellent communication, active listening, and written skills.

Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability.

Perseverance, grit, and the ability to prioritize long‑term goals.

Understanding of automotive market dynamics, financial principles, and industry trends.

Action‑oriented with a sense of urgency and efficiency.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred; high school or GED required.

Ability to coordinate and facilitate customer test drives.

Willingness to travel for events as needed.

Proficiency in English; secondary language knowledge is a plus.

Physical capacity to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as twisting, bending, squatting, and reaching.

Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; under‑21 drivers must meet Lucid’s training and license requirements.

Ability to obtain state DMV licensing, where applicable.

Compensation

Guaranteed base pay of

$21/hr USD

for stable, predictable income.

Uncapped commission opportunities allowing earnings to match performance.

Bi‑weekly commission payouts for timely visibility of earnings.
