Job Description
UiPath Agentic Engineer
CGI is seeking an experienced UiPath Agentic Engineer to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions for enterprise clients. As part of our growing AI practice and as a UiPath Platinum partner, you will work on cutting‑edge initiatives spanning RPA, AI, and next‑generation agentic automation. This role goes beyond traditional bot development. You will help build intelligent, adaptive automation solutions that incorporate AI agents, orchestration, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows using capabilities such as UiPath Agent Builder, Maestro, AutoPilot, Apps, and Intelligent Document Processing (Document Understanding / IXP). You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex business problems and help clients evolve toward more autonomous, AI‑driven operations.
This role can be performed from any US CGI office (Hybrid).
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design and develop agentic automation solutions using UiPath Agentic Automation
Build and deploy intelligent automation solutions incorporating AI, Document Understanding (IDP/IXP), and agent‑based capabilities
Work with UiPath capabilities such as Agent Builder, Maestro, AutoPilot, Apps, Integration Services, and Document Understanding / IXP
Develop and integrate document processing and data extraction solutions using AI‑powered tools
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, process flows, and automation opportunities
Develop reusable components and scalable UiPath frameworks
Integrate UiPath solutions with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
Implement exception handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure reliability
Support testing, deployment, and production stabilization
Contribute to solution design documentation and best practices
Stay current with evolving automation and AI capabilities, including agentic automation and intelligent document processing
Support the growth of CGI’s UiPath practice including developing new solutions, POCs, and demos
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in technology or software development. Hands‑on experience with UiPath (required).
Technical Expertise
3+ years of hands‑on UiPath development experience
Strong experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and end‑to‑end delivery
Experience with Document Understanding / IXP
Proficiency in .NET (C# or VB.NET) or similar
Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
Exposure to UiPath Agent Builder, Maestro, or AutoPilot
Experience with UiPath Document Understanding, IXP (Intelligent Document Processing/Experience), or AI Center
Experience with AI/ML or Generative AI in automation use cases
Understanding of human‑in‑the‑loop workflows and automation governance
Exposure to prompt engineering or Agent‑assisted development tools including AutoPilot
Certifications and Training
UiPath Automation Developer Professional (required)
UiPath Agentic Automation Associate (required)
UiPath Specialized AI Professional (preferred)
Soft Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
Technical Tools and Methodologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
Understanding and ability to work within Agile project delivery frameworks and methodologies
Other Information
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $139,300.00.
