**Overview**
**cAUse Marketing** is a unit within **Auburn Advancement** focused on recruiting, retaining, and re-engaging Auburn University donors through compelling, audience-centered communications that support philanthropic giving and deepen donor connection.
The **Fall Writing Intern** will support the development of persuasive copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns that inspire philanthropic support for Auburn University. This internship offers hands-on experience writing for direct mail, email, texting, social media, and web, with a particular emphasis on focused fundraising initiatives and donor-centered messaging.
**Responsibilities**
+ Write and revise persuasive copy for fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, texting, social media, and web.
+ Support messaging for focused fundraising initiatives by helping translate project needs and impact into compelling donor-facing content.
+ Adapt tone, format, and message based on audience, platform, and campaign goals.
+ Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and brand alignment.
+ Conduct light research and gather background information as needed to strengthen messaging.
+ Collaborate with team members across Advancement Marketing to support fundraising campaign development and execution.
