Director, TikTok Shop (Omnichannel)

Key Responsibilities

Team Ownership (Core)

  • Work closely with the GM of Omnichannel to:
  • Set revenue targets and manage delivery (retainers, commissions, scopes, renewals, expansion)
  • Build and manage monthly/quarterly forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses (actual vs. plan)
  • Control and optimize team expenses (headcount, utilization, freelancers, tools, operating costs)
  • Improve unit economics by brand and workstream (affiliate, live, paid, ops)
  • Make resourcing tradeoffs to balance quality and profitability

TikTok Shop Lifecycle Strategy, GTM Architecture & Brand Budget Ownership

  • Design end-to-end TikTok Shop strategies by lifecycle stage with clear KPIs, timelines, and owners
  • Own both growth plans and financial plans at the brand level
  • Advise on budgets and P&L levers (paid media, creator commissions, seeding, promos, live costs, ops investments)
  • Build business cases and scenario plans (base/upside/downside) grounded in ROI
  • Lead multi-quarter GTM roadmaps for launches, tentpoles, and campaigns
  • Align creator/affiliate, live, paid media, and operations into one cohesive strategy
  • Act as SME for TikTok Shop strategy based on client needs and targets
  • Partner with Brand Strategists to build full strategic plans
  • Own senior stakeholder relationships for priority accounts
  • Lead QBRs/MBRs with clear, executive-ready insights and actions
  • Proactively manage risk, expectations, and escalations

People Leadership (Manage 3–5 Brand Leads)

  • Coach and develop team on strategy, prioritization, and execution
  • Hold team accountable for financial performance and client success
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain talent
  • Lead performance reviews and career development planning

Operating Systems & Scalable Process

  • Build scalable playbooks and SOPs
  • Partner cross-functionally (ads, live, ops, finance) to ensure execution quality
  • Drive knowledge sharing and process improvement

Market & Platform Expertise

  • Bring deep category expertise (beauty, fashion, personal care)
  • Translate consumer and cultural insights into strategy
  • Stay ahead of TikTok Shop trends, policies, and algorithm shifts
  • Quickly ramp across new brands, categories, and tools

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in e-commerce, social commerce, brand management, consulting, or high-growth agency roles (TikTok Shop experience preferred)
  • 3+ years managing managers or equivalent leadership scope
  • Proven experience in revenue and expense management (forecasting, staffing, utilization, variance)
  • Strong category expertise in beauty, fashion, and/or personal care
  • Analytical rigor (KPI analysis, funnel optimization, test-and-learn frameworks)
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management
  • High ownership, strong standards, and collaborative mindset

Plus: Strategic consulting and/or in-house consumer brand experience (e-commerce, growth, marketplace)
