The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and performance of the sales function across an assigned region. This role drives market expansion, referral development, and revenue growth through the execution of targeted sales strategies and the development of high‑performing teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, growth, and market share objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including health systems, physician groups, and strategic partnerships
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and referral patterns to inform strategic direction
- Support integration and growth initiatives related to new locations, services, or acquisitions
- Analyze market trends using data and technology
- Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures across the region
- Monitor sales performance and pipeline activity; implement action plans to address gaps and drive results
- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, CRM utilization, and reporting standards
- Drive disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales leaders and account executives
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent within the region
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and development planning
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key referral sources, health systems, and strategic partners
- Represent Amerita in the market to strengthen brand presence and referral alignment
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, events, and market positioning
- Partner with pharmacy operations, nursing, and clinical teams to align sales growth with operational capacity
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational priorities
- Support communication and coordination across departments to enhance customer experience
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Promote a culture of integrity and accountability across the sales organization
- Provide direct leadership to regional sales managers and/or senior account executives
- Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- 8–12 years of progressive healthcare sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or home health strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and leading multi‑site or regional sales teams
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer dynamics, and referral networks
- Proven ability to lead and scale high‑performing sales teams in a complex healthcare environment
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and executive presence
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Percentage of Travel: 75%+

Physical Requirements
To perform this role will require frequently sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), kneeling, crouching, and stooping. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 1‑10 lbs.
