The Role
You’ll provide pragmatic, solutions-focused employment law advice to HR professionals and their organisations across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Key responsibilities include:
Advising clients daily via phone, email, and meetings on employment law and employee relations matters
Diagnosing issues, assessing risk, and providing clear, commercially focused solutions
Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, procedures, and correspondence tailored to client needs
Managing Employment Tribunal cases, including drafting pleadings, preparing documentation, and developing legal strategies
Supporting clients through complex projects such as TUPE transfers and large-scale contractual changes
Building strong client relationships through regular client meetings and surgeries
Delivering engaging employment law training, workshops, and webinars across the UK
Contributing to business development through content creation, networking, and supporting new service offerings
About You
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent with strong employment law experience
Experience advising HR professionals within larger or more complex organisations
Technically strong, with a commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice
Confident managing a varied caseload, including Employment Tribunal matters
Skilled at building relationships and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
Comfortable delivering training and presenting to clients (or keen to develop in this area)
Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
A collaborative team player with an interest in innovation and continuous improvement
Additional Information
Some travel and occasional overnight stays will be required for client meetings and training delivery.
