The Business Insurance Client Account Executive will serve business insurance customers across North America. Applicants must live within driving distance to our Alpharetta, GA office and be able to commute a minimum three times per week.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email, and in person.

Develop and execute a comprehensive client service plan for all assigned accounts that addresses their business needs and risk management goals.

Coordinate internal and external activities to ensure new and renewal accounts are handled timely, accurately, and professionally.

Seek cross‑sell opportunities and suggest new coverage lines.

Work with Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive to monitor and manage the renewal process, coordinating meetings with clients or Producers and presenting renewal options.

Lead marketing of accounts as requested by Producer or Marketing Account Executive.

Prepare marketing information for Producers or clients, provide required information to the Marketing Account Executive, and present options to clients as appropriate.

Complete implementation process and deliver all applicable forms to client in conjunction with other service team members.

Formulate a plan with Producer to conduct relationship‑management meetings and/or visits with assigned clients.

Assist clients and staff with service questions related to administration, billing, claims issues, problem‑solving, and other required services.

Proficiently use client‑management system(s) to update policies, log activities, track follow‑up, and acquire information for clients.

Attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to stay current on new products and legislative changes.

Mentor team members.

Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.

Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.

Appropriate insurance license(s).

Strong client relation skills including excellent communication, service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems.

Leadership skills: ability to provide direction, constructive feedback, development, and training while motivating others to maximize productivity and team morale.

Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight.

Additional Qualifications (Optional)

Advanced degree.

Certification in field of endeavor.

Experience with Requests for Proposal.
