Multi-Media Coordinator, Professional Development (Part-Time)

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for the position of Multi-Media Coordinator, Professional Development (Part-Time). The Multi-Media Coordinator assigned to Professional Development will specialize in highly technical and creative work involving the design, production, and development of newsletters, flyers and training materials using a wide variety of digital mediums. Required document: Each applicant must complete a notarized background investigation waiver. Failure to submit this document will disqualify your application. The waiver must be notarized and submitted with the pre-screen application. Salary is negotiable based on related training, education, and experience. Applications must be submitted before the closing date of May 26, 2026.
Illustrative duties include: Use graphic design skills to prepare newsletters and flyers relating to upcoming training or trends occurring in law enforcement. Oversee the development and production of videos and biographies for recruits and graduates of the Basic Law Enforcement Academy, Corrections Academy, or new hires. Record and edit any training videos produced in house regarding training trends and/or mandatory training. Utilize division/department specific software to assist, gather, investigate and/or compile information for the Professional Development Division and other divisions within the Sheriff's Office. Assist the Training/Career Development Lieutenant, as well as the FTO/Academy Lieutenant to fulfill their mission. Assist, when needed, with career development and FDLE mandated computer security training. Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Design, Interactive Media, or related field. At least one (1) year of work experience in professional graphic design. Consideration may be given to equivalent combination of related training, education and experience. Web content management system experience desirable. Strong design portfolio required. Internal applicants must have completed the Seminole County Sheriff's Office one (1) year probationary period. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
