Overview
The combination of Mastercard’s Cross Border Services (XBS) and Mastercard Send provides a comprehensive, domestic and global payment platform that allows financial institutions, fintechs, digital customers and other businesses to send real‑time payments to multiple end points around the world. This high‐growth segment is relevant to a broad range of Mastercard products and assets.
Role
- Employ a data‐driven approach to identify, prioritize and structure optimization or cross‑sell opportunities among existing XBS and Send customers.
- Partner with business development leads to develop and execute on optimization or cross‑sell proposals. Responsible for optimization KPIs.
- Oversee portfolio tracking and analytics, production of reporting and dashboards to inform product strategy and management. Support financial projections and planning.
- Support strategic projects involving XBS, Send and other initiatives.
All About You
- Significant experience and exposure to the U.S. payments ecosystem and product management or development functions; consulting experience preferred.
- Data‐driven, strong business acumen with a track record in launching creative partnerships or new business models; ability to spot trends and turn them into new revenue opportunities.
- Think outside the box, comfortable with thoughtful risk‐taking.
- Strong sense of urgency and multi‐tasking capabilities.
- Strong influencing skills across all levels of the organization and with customers.
- Strong team player, with people‑management skills and experience.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to lead customer‑facing conversations, and strong executive presence.
Compensation & Benefits
In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the U.S., the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full‑time employees generally include: insurance (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of paid sick and safe time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro‑rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401(k) with a best‑in‑class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on‑site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges
New York City, New York: \$187,000 – \$318,000 USD
