About the Role

Uber Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to join the Performance Marketing SpendOps team. This role is responsible for overseeing global finance, billing, and operational processes supporting Performance Marketing initiatives and the broader


Global Marketing organization

The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner across marketing, finance, and external vendor teams to ensure efficient budget management, streamlined billing operations, and operational compliance across a global digital marketing ecosystem. This position requires a highly organized operator with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to bridge technical marketing platforms with corporate finance processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the global monthly payment pipeline for digital marketing vendors, ensuring timely processing of 300+ invoices tied to multi-million-dollar marketing spend
  • Support ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) invoice and billing operations across performance and brand marketing campaigns
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual billing tasks
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendor finance/billing teams
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring timely communication and issue resolution
  • Manage user access governance for digital marketing platforms, including access requests, audits, permissions, and compliance oversight
  • Maintain ad account hygiene and support scalable operational best practices across global account structures
  • Build and maintain centralized process documentation and a “Single Source of Truth” (SSOT) knowledge hub for SpendOps operations
  • Streamline stakeholder support processes and improve turnaround times for operational and financial inquiries
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, finance, procurement, and operations teams to support global campaign execution


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Marketing Operations experience with a strong focus on:
  • Performance Marketing Operations
  • Budget Management
  • Billing Operations
  • Financial Operations
  • Experience managing high-volume, time-sensitive operational workflows in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex financial or technical operational issues while balancing business priorities
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Experience overseeing large-scale marketing budgets with strong attention to detail and fiscal accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across global cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills using:
  • Excel
  • Google Suite
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating across multiple global time zones


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global performance marketing organizations
  • Background managing vendor ecosystems and marketing platform governance
  • Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, or operational knowledge bases
  • Prior exposure to digital ad platform administration and access management
  • Based in San Francisco or New York preferred
