The Junior Account Manager must be an organized and dynamic people person who asks the right questions with genuine curiosity. Not only will your effects drive Mavericks Marketing as an industry leader, but you will nurture the high-quality and reliable environment clients love.
Compensation:

$50,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do
Provides administrative support to account strategists on day-to-day client activities, including responding to client phone calls, emails, Slacks, meeting production and creative deadlines, media placements, etc., to ensure the continued progress of client workflow in the absence of the assigned account strategist
Stays aware of client activities to provide backup when account strategists are unavailable
Gathers and assembles background information and analyses as needed by account strategists in the development of briefs, etc.
Provides input in planning stages as requested by account strategists. Assists in processing final copy, agendas, conference reports, proposals, correspondence, and other materials related to account service (except billing, production quotes/purchase orders, media plans), and prepares the above for client presentations
Handles and maintains digital files on all client activities, their competitors, and their industries; maintains client correspondence, which includes approvals, documents, supplies for daily processing and tracking of account service work, etc.
Maintains client digital archives for all assigned accounts, detailing past work and work-in-progress, and all pertinent information needed for accurate proofreading and meeting of client standards
By Account Strategists' request, takes call notes at meetings, prepares and distributes contact reports (call reports), etc.
Analyze campaign performance and deliver actionable insights
Assembles Email Marketing assets and designs for clients directed by the Account Strategist (heavily in email creation)
Main point of contact for smaller clients with smaller engagements
Any other requests from Mavericks Marketing

Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years of agency-side account management or digital marketing experience across multiple disciplines
BS/BA in marketing, communications, or a relevant field preferred but not required
Demonstrable experience in project management, managing multiple projects and deadlines all at once, as well as tasking
Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
Comfortable knowledge of Paid Media (Google Search, Meta Ads), SEO, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, and Social Media Marketing
An understanding of both creative and analytical capabilities
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work within a wide range of client budgets and yield quantifiable results
Must be accountable and not afraid to share opinions and ask questions
A desire to grow with the company and contribute to agency culture
Strong oral, writing, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Strong references and portfolio of past work required
Must be a confident, flexible multitasker, and be able to work independently
Work from Work Agency - We are an in-office agency with a hybrid structure
