Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator
Communications / Advancement - Weston, Florida

Purpose Statement:
This position is responsible for supporting the mission and vision of Weston Christian Academy through creative design, strategic marketing, and digital communications. The primary focus of this role is to communicate the life, mission, and culture of the school through compelling visual content, marketing initiatives, and social media engagement that reflects excellence, professionalism, and biblical values.

Scope:
This position supports school wide communications, advancement, admissions, and marketing efforts by developing visual and promotional materials that strengthen the WCA brand and enhance community engagement. This role integrates creativity, communication, and strategic marketing to support school initiatives, events, enrollment efforts, sponsorships, and community outreach.

Specific Responsibilities:

Design and produce print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, advertisements, event graphics, and promotional materials

Ensure brand consistency across all school communications, marketing materials, and visual platforms

Assist with managing the school’s social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement

Create engaging visual and digital content that highlights student life, academics, athletics, events, and spiritual growth

Capture and edit photography and basic video content for school communications, marketing, and social media use

Collaborate with administration, admissions, advancement, athletics, and school departments to promote school initiatives and events

Support enrollment and advancement efforts through creative campaigns, storytelling, and strategic marketing initiatives

Coordinate the ordering and production of marketing materials, signage, promotional items, sponsorship materials, and branded products for school events and initiatives

Communicate and collaborate with vendors to secure quality products and materials that support school marketing and advancement efforts

Assist with campus graphics, visual displays, and event related promotional materials

Monitor social media engagement and marketing effectiveness to support growth and community engagement

Maintain organized archives of digital assets, branding materials, photography, and media files

Attend key school events, including some evenings and weekends, to support event coverage and promotional needs

Support photography coverage for school events as needed

Ensure all communications and visual materials reflect the mission, values, and professionalism of Weston Christian Academy

Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and excellence

Qualifications/Skills/Gifts:

Be a committed Christian who is a member in good standing in a Christian church

Have a strong commitment to the Philosophy and Statement of Faith of First Baptist Church at Weston and to the Mission Statement of Weston Christian Academy

Have a teachable and humble spirit

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; BFA preferred

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Canva

Experience with social media management tools and digital content creation

Photography and basic videography/editing skills preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence

Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Experience in marketing, branding, communications, or digital media preferred

Experience working in a school, church, nonprofit, or ministry environment preferred

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
