Production Engineer
1. JOB SUMMARY
The Production Engineer is responsible for advancing operational performance through structured process
improvements that enhance safety, quality, delivery reliability and overall efficiency. This role supports production
operations by developing standardized processes, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with
company objectives.
2. PRIMARY
FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operational Leadership - Lead daily production operations by establishing standardized processes, monitoring
performance, communicating results, and collaborating with leadership to ensure production, quality and efficiency
objectives are met
2. Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimize material
usage
3. Capital Equipment & Process Development - Coordinate the sourcing, installation and implementation of new
equipment and production systems, including vendor engagement, documentation, development and training of
personnel to ensure successful integration and ongoing operations
4.Safety and Environments Compliance - Support and reinforce workplace initiatives that maintain compliance with
safety standards
5. Coaching - Participate in employee coaching and development activities to strengthen team capabilities
6. Training - Assist with development and improvement of training materials and documentation
3. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Support cross-functional teams in achieving company-wide operational objectives
2. Support special projects and additional operational initiatives as assigned
3. Participate in problem solving activities to address production challenges
4. Encourage open communication between team members and leadership to support alignment with goals
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED,
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
Software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Word Processing programs, including Microsoft Word
Working knowledge of thermal transfer printing systems
Basic experience with reporting tools preferred
Working knowledge of production-related software is beneficial
Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs
Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
