Responsibilities
Job Summary:

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you'll own and drive highly visible strategic marketing initiatives. You'll lead cross-functional teams and coach and mentor others.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Management / Communications / Leadership:

Provides strategic leadership; offers strategic, forward-looking marketing solutions to address business challenges; oversees strategy, planning, and execution of best-in-class, integrated marketing initiatives

Owns / drives highly visible strategic marketing initiatives; creates a cohesive marketing strategy to clearly solve business challenges

Serves as / viewed as a trusted advisor to business leaders and key stakeholders; provides strategic counsel, idea generation, and consultation on marketing solutions that meet business challenges

Champions for our customer, weighing in with strategic and tactical feedback that will help make H-E-B marketing more customer-centric

Leads cross-functional teams end-to-end, from brief to planning and all execution stages; ensures plans align with agreed-upon strategy and execution of messaging in market across all channels

Monitors marketing plan performance; course-corrects as needed

Identifies areas of opportunity to acquire new customers and subsequent campaigns to increase customer retention

Works closely with other marketing leaders on message prioritization and the creation of a H-E-B marketing calendar

Coaches / mentors others

Develops strong relationships with internal teams in stakeholders

Applies advanced-level subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues within established guidelines; recommends appropriate variances

Serves as a team or project leader; provides direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process

Works without day-to-day supervision; handles most unique situations; may seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues

Work Experience

7+ years Experience in marketing - Required

Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills - Required

Advanced analytical skills; ability to analyze / draw conclusions from data - Required

Education

A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or experience - Required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
