Job Summary

Join Bank of America’s Healthcare, Education & Not‑for‑Profit (HENFP) business—part of the Global Commercial Bank—and play a leading role in expanding our presence across the Upper Midwest. The Senior Relationship Manager is a high‑impact, client‑facing role responsible for driving new business, deepening existing relationships, and delivering profitable growth across a portfolio of complex, mission‑driven organizations.
Responsibilities

Manage an extensive portfolio of HENFP clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50million and above to help companies save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs.
Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
Understand and interpret financial and cash‑flow statements to assess and analyze the financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
Collaborate with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank—including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management—and facilitate client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions.
Lead and facilitate dialogue with a variety of complex clients and prospects regarding topics such as the client and prospect industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
Coach and mentor peers, while utilizing leadership skills.
Adapt to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed.
Required Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in broad based commercial lending/corporate finance/relationship management.
Demonstrated management capability of an extensive portfolio of Healthcare, Education and NFP clients with revenues greater than $50million.
Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and closing profitable transactions.
Professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution, and follow‑up of client meetings.
Strong corporate finance, capital markets and accounting acumen.
Financial modeling experience and completion of formal credit training preferred.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
Must obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date.
Desired Skills

Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; MBA desirable.
Existing knowledge of the market preferred.
Active member/participation in local community organizations.
Highly desirable to have active networking contacts and Centers of Influence established in market.
Desire to work in a specialty team with an interest in Healthcare, Education & NFP institutions.
Shift and Hours

Shift: 1st shift (United States of America). Hours per week: 40.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $140,000.00 – $235,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible – role eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. This role is currently benefits eligible.
