Position Summary
The Talent Advisor supports high-volume recruiting efforts and organizational initiatives within a fast-paced environment. This role assists with full-cycle recruitment activities, candidate tracking, and onboarding processes, including conducting new union hire orientations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage shifting priorities while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support high-volume, full-cycle recruiting for multiple open roles
Screen resumes and manage large applicant pools using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Coordinate recruitment activities and track candidate progress using detailed Excel reporting
Assist with new union hire orientations and onboarding activities
Partner with recruitment staff and stakeholders to support hiring initiatives
Maintain accurate reporting and status updates on recruitment activities
Leverage job boards and sourcing tools to identify qualified candidates
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience in high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume screening
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advanced Excel skills for tracking and reporting recruiting data
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Union hiring or union workforce experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for engineering, utility, or telecom roles
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
