Position Overview
The Talent Advisor will support high-volume recruiting efforts and organizational hiring initiatives, particularly for management-level roles. This position works closely with a recruiting team of 10+ members to manage full-cycle recruiting activities, assist with union hire orientations, and maintain accurate recruitment tracking. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage high-volume, full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, resume screening, and candidate coordination
Support recruitment staff with hiring initiatives and reorganization efforts
Assist in conducting new union hire orientations
Utilize job boards and sourcing tools to identify qualified candidates
Track candidate pipelines and recruiting metrics using Excel and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Maintain accurate status reporting for weekly recruiting updates
Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to support hiring goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume environments
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and managing large applicant pools
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong Excel skills with the ability to track and report multiple data points
Proven interpersonal and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting within utility, engineering, or telecom industries
Experience supporting union hiring environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Additional Details
Team size: 10+ people
Local travel may be required if needed
