TRIAD Director - Associate Professor or Full Professor
We are seeking an Associate or Full Professor to serve as the director of the University of Utah's Translational Research: Implementation, Analysis and Design (TRIAD) Team. The director will oversee and develop TRIAD, collaborate with biomedical researchers, support and develop grant proposals, advise graduate students, perform methodological research, and teach in the Biostatistics Ph.D. emphasis within the PHS Ph.D. program.

Responsibilities

Oversee and develop the TRIAD Team, comprising more than 40 master’s and Ph.D. trained biostatisticians and research methodologists.

Collaborate with biomedical researchers across the University of Utah and affiliated institutions.

Support and develop grant proposals and pursue independent and collaborative methodological research.

Advise graduate students and contribute to teaching in the Biostatistics Ph.D. emphasis.

Methodological Interests (preferred)

Design and analysis of observational studies

Design and analysis of clinical trials

Causal inference

Implementation science methodology

Data integration

Machine learning

‘Omics (e.g., metabolomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics)

Social/behavioral science

Longitudinal and multilevel data analysis

Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. in biostatistics or a related discipline.

Demonstrated excellence in collaborative and methodological research.

Post‑doctoral training and/or experience is desired.
