Position Overview
Associate or Full Professor-level faculty position at the Division of Biostatistics, Department of Population Health Sciences, University of Utah School of Medicine. The successful candidate will serve as Director of the University of Utah’s Translational Research: Implementation, Analysis and Design (TRIAD) Team and is encouraged to apply online at https://utah.peopleadmin.com/postings/168170.

Responsibilities

Oversee and develop the TRIAD Team, a multi-disciplinary group of more than 40 biostatisticians and research methodologists.

Collaborate with biomedical researchers, support and develop grant proposals.

Advise graduate students and perform methodological research.

Lead multi-disciplinary research teams within the institution and in national and international research networks.

Teach courses in the Biostatistics Ph.D. program and the PHS Ph.D. program.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in biostatistics or a related discipline.

Demonstrated excellence in collaborative and methodological research; postdoctoral training and/or experience desired.

Expertise or experience in design and analysis of observational studies, clinical trials, causal inference, implementation science methodology, data integration, machine learning, omics, social/behavioral science, longitudinal and multilevel data analysis.
