TRIAD Director - Associate Professor or Full ProfessorWe are seeking an Associate or Full Professor to serve as the director of the University of Utah's Translational Research: Implementation, Analysis and Design (TRIAD) Team. The director will oversee and develop TRIAD, collaborate with biomedical researchers, support and develop grant proposals, advise graduate students, perform methodological research, and teach in the Biostatistics Ph.D. emphasis within the PHS Ph.D. program.ResponsibilitiesOversee and develop the TRIAD Team, comprising more than 40 master's and Ph.D. trained biostatisticians and research methodologists.Collaborate with biomedical researchers across the University of Utah and affiliated institutions.Support and develop grant proposals and pursue independent and collaborative methodological research.Advise graduate students and contribute to teaching in the Biostatistics Ph.D. emphasis.Methodological Interests (preferred)Design and analysis of observational studiesDesign and analysis of clinical trialsCausal inferenceImplementation science methodologyData integrationMachine learning‘Omics (e.g., metabolomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics)Social/behavioral scienceLongitudinal and multilevel data analysisMinimum QualificationsA Ph.D. in biostatistics or a related discipline.Demonstrated excellence in collaborative and methodological research.Post‑doctoral training and/or experience is desired.Required MaterialsLetter of interest (cover letter)Curriculum vitaeResearch statementTeaching statementExemplar publication or pre‑publication that highlights expertise in biostatisticsAdditional InformationThe University of Utah offers a highly competitive salary and start‑up package, along with exceptional benefits.
