Role Overview
This is a commission-only, part-time role — perfect for someone with an existing network in design, real estate, luxury goods, or art who wants the flexibility to earn extra income. You’ll act as a connector, introducing clients to the gallery’s artists and guiding them through the acquisition process. This role is flexible and results-driven and a strong interest in fine art is a must.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with interior designers, real estate professionals, businesses, and private collectors
- Proactively prospect and follow up on leads
- Self-source art collector leads
- Provide personalized art consultation and guide clients through the buying process
- Track outreach and report progress on leads and sales
Compensation
- 100% commission-based (no base salary)
- Commission structure: 10% on sales generated through your direct efforts (new client acquisition)
- Tiered bonuses available for exceeding quarterly sales goals
Schedule
- Mostly self-directed; some gallery hours or event coverage as needed
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sales (preferably in art, design, luxury retail, real estate, or hospitality)
- Strong network in the New England area is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently
- Passion for contemporary art and design
- Flexible schedule with earning potential tied to performance
