AV Tech

We are seeking an AV Technician to provide high-quality audio visual and multimedia support across a variety of clinical, academic, and executive environments. This role supports meetings, conferences, and special events while ensuring seamless video conferencing, live production, and user experience.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and experienced with modern AV systems in professional environments such as healthcare, corporate, or higher education.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide audio visual support for meetings, conferences, and events, including setup and operation of displays, PTZ cameras, presentation systems, and video conferencing platforms
• Test, launch, monitor, and troubleshoot video conferences, ensuring a smooth experience for both in-room and remote participants
• Deliver real-time technical support for AV systems on-site and remotely using centralized control tools and management portals
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Support live event production, including recording and live streaming of presentations, lectures, and special events using modern video production systems
• Assist with post-production editing and content delivery using professional tools such as AVID
• Manage and publish recorded content to internal or web-based streaming platforms
• Provide light technical support related to AV systems and user-facing technology; track and resolve issues through a ticketing system
• Document issues, analyze trends, and help improve service quality and user experience
• Follow up with end users to ensure successful issue resolution
• Coordinate event details through scheduling systems, ensuring all AV requirements are captured and supported
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful planning and execution of events

Qualifications
• Experience supporting audio visual systems in corporate, healthcare, or university environments
• Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms and in-room AV technology
• Familiarity with PTZ cameras, AV control systems, and multimedia equipment
• Exposure to live streaming and video production workflows preferred
• Experience with AVID or similar editing tools is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer service mindset
