Technical Writer II

to support enterprise documentation, communications, and knowledge management initiatives.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys transforming complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content while collaborating across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to gather and validate information.
Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content.
Edit, proofread, and maintain documentation standards and consistency.
Update documentation based on process improvements, system changes, and stakeholder feedback.
Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and develop monthly communications
ewsletters.
Manage multiple documentation projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
2+ years of technical writing or documentation experience.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Experience creating process documentation, user guides, SOPs, or training materials.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation tools.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Project management experience preferred.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Must be local to the Houston area.
Must be able to work hybrid in Downtown Houston.
No Corp-to-Corp arrangements.
No relocation assistance available.
