Marketing & Brand Manager

Vaco · Indianapolis, IN, USA ·

Job type:
Full Time

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing & Brand Manager to join our client's team. This is a unique role – our marketing is not measured by cost‑per‑click metrics or direct sales attribution. Instead, your mission is brand visibility and digital omnipresence. When a prospect Googles us, scrolls LinkedIn, or browses Facebook, we want our name to show up consistently, professionally, and compellingly – so that when they're ready to buy, we're the first company they think of. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, adaptable, and genuinely excited about building a brand from the ground up with real creative freedom.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Presence & SEO

Own and manage the company's search engine presence across Google and other platforms

Stay current on AI‑driven search developments (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, etc.) and ensure our brand is visible in emerging discovery channels

Monitor analytics and continuously optimize for search performance

Social Media Management

Manage and grow the company's presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms

Create and schedule fresh, engaging content that keeps us top‑of‑mind for prospects and clients

Develop and run paid social campaigns as needed

Content Creation & Branding

Produce high‑quality content including blog posts, case studies, email campaigns, and promotional materials

Develop sales enablement tools such as presentations, one‑pagers, and leave‑behind materials for our sales team

Maintain consistent branding across all internal and external touchpoints

Manage SWAG – sourcing, ordering, and distributing branded merchandise

Lead Generation Support

Support lead generation efforts using platforms such as ZoomInfo and Lead Forensics

Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and provide marketing support

Spokesperson & Presentations

Serve as a company spokesperson – conducting facility tours for clients and prospects

Present marketing materials and company updates to internal and external audiences

Represent the brand with confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm

Additional Responsibilities

Provide occasional executive‑level administrative support as needed

Take on ad hoc projects that support overall business goals – we're a small team and flexibility matters

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in marketing with knowledge and expertise in Social Media Management, Branding, SEO, Content Creation, Presentation, and Corporate Communication

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present confidently to groups

Creative thinker who can generate ideas and is open to feedback – including hearing "no" from time to time

Adaptable and hands‑on; comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small marketing environment

Thrives in a fun, casual culture

Self‑starter who can manage multiple projects without constant direction

Familiarity with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary commensurate with experience

401(k) with company match

Health insurance

Paid time off (PTO)

Strong employee appreciation culture with regular recognition initiatives

Work Environment
This is a 100% on‑site position. You'll be working directly alongside our sales team and senior leadership in a collaborative, open environment where your ideas have room to grow. If you're looking for a place where you can make a real impact, build something meaningful, and actually enjoy coming to work – this might be exactly what you've been looking for.
