DescriptionPosition Summary:The Station Manager are responsible for the full spectrum of station operations, including aircraft line maintenance, administrative duties, GSE oversight, training, compliance, and customer contract management. These positions are leadership roles critical to ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and profitability at a 24/7 maintenance station.Operations & OversightManage day-to-day operations across all shifts, with oversight of multiple mechanics in a 24/7 work environment.Maintain compliance with FAA, OSHA, airport, and environmental regulations.Ensure aircraft serviceability and support on-time performance.Lead and participate in aircraft line maintenance activities as needed.Maintain GSC assets including vehicles, aircraft jacks, ground support equipment, and specialized tooling.Oversee administrative tasks, facility upkeep, and payroll coordination.Training & ComplianceConduct or delegate technician training (OJT and procedural).Monitor and maintain training records, compliance logs, and audit readiness.Act as a compliance point of contact for customer audits and internal evaluations.Customer & Contract ManagementCoordinate staffing and scheduling to meet all customer requirements.Ensure accurate invoicing for tenant and contracted work orders.Build and maintain customer relationships to promote operational confidence.Asset & Tool ControlTrack and ensure calibration of all tools.Oversee company vehicle assignments and transfers.Manage station assets and submit requisitions for replacements.Key Performance IndicatorsOvertime reduction and controlStation profitabilityManpower utilization and scheduling efficiencyCompliance and audit readinessCustomer satisfaction and invoicing accuracySystems & ToolsFamiliarity with:Online aircraft maintenance documentation platformsMicrosoft Excel and other digital workflow toolsWork ScheduleTypically, a 5-day fixed schedule (8-hour shifts), but subject to change based on operational demand or emergencies.Valid FAA A&P license5+ years of commercial aircraft line maintenance experienceValid driver’s licenseAbility to pass:Pre-employment drug screeningFBI background checkAirport SIDA badge and Customs Seal clearancePreferred SkillsStrong leadership and people managementExcellent communication and conflict-resolution skillsExperience managing multi-departmental functionsHigh attention to detail in regulatory compliance and documentationAbility to work under pressure in high-paced environments
