Camp Fire Alaska Multi‑Site Program Staff
Camp Fire Alaska aims to help youth develop social, emotional, physical, and academic skills that will help them see and reach their full potential. We do that by facilitating hands‑on, educational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, structured play and more, all in a safely organized after school program setting.

Schedule & Pay
School Age Program (August – May) Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Pay: $19.12 per hour ($19.69 per hour after 6 months)
Guaranteed 4 hours per day, Monday – Friday. Location subject to change daily to meet staffing needs. Assigned to sites in specific geographic areas (outlined below).

Position Details
Multi‑Site Program Staff: work between 20 – 25 hours per week (average), supervising activities with groups of youth across various program locations within geographic areas. 4 hours daily of site time, up to 1–2 additional hours daily for meetings and trainings (times vary).
Requirements
Age requirement: 18 years old
Availability 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm Monday–Friday
Ability to transport self to work and to the Camp Fire office for trainings
Ability to work at a variety of site locations
1 year of experience working successfully with children in a group setting
Training or experience in youth development, education, or recreation (preferred)
Required Certifications
Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid
Food Worker Card
Mandated Reporter training certificate

Background Check
All applicants who are offered employment with Camp Fire Alaska will be subjected to reference checks and a criminal history check through the Alaska Background Check Program. Offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of both the reference checks and criminal history check in accordance with Municipality of Anchorage Child Care Licensing regulations.
