About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Interconnection and Transmission to take on a pivotal role in leading and expanding the utility-scale interconnection and transmission function. This senior position is responsible for the end-to-end management of the function, from a hands-on individual contributor level to the strategic development of a growing department. The successful candidate will be the key architect of the grid strategy, with a focus on the current and future expansion markets.
The ideal candidate for this role at The Company will have a strong background in interconnection and transmission, with a proven track record of scaling and leading such functions. Experience in steering grid strategy across various markets, particularly within the WECC and CAISO regions, is essential. The role demands a foundational leader who can transition from a hands-on approach to a more strategic and departmental management style, and who is adept at handling the high visibility and responsibility that comes with the position.
