Product Development & Investor Relations ManagerThe Product Development & Investor Relations Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and performance of the company's mortgage product portfolio while managing and expanding investor relationships. This role ensures alignment between market opportunity, investor appetite, operational execution, and profitability objectives.This leader will act as the critical bridge between capital markets, sales, underwriting, and post-closing , driving product innovation, optimizing investor execution, and improving overall loan lifecycle performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end lifecycle of mortgage products (Agency, Government, Jumbo, Non-QM, DPA, and specialty programs)Identify and launch new products based on market demand, competitive positioning, and investor appetiteDefine product guidelines, overlays, pricing strategy, and rollout plansPartner with underwriting, compliance, capital markets, and operations to ensure successful implementationMonitor product performance including margin, pull-through, fallout, and operational efficiencyContinuously optimize product offerings based on performance data and market trendsInvestor Relations & ExecutionServe as primary relationship manager for all investors (Agency, Non-Agency, Correspondent, and private capital)Manage investor scorecards, delivery expectations, and performance reviewsAssist with investor-related issues including suspense conditions, purchase delays, and escalationsExpand investor network to improve execution, pricing, and liquidityPartner with secondary marketing to optimize execution strategy and investor allocationOperational & Post-Closing OptimizationCollaborate with post-closing to improve purchase cycle times and reduce investor frictionAnalyze and address bottlenecks related to shipping, suspense, and purchase timelinesReduce curtailments, exceptions, and aged loan inventoryAlign product design with operational capabilities to improve throughputCross-Functional LeadershipAct as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership on product positioning and growth initiativesLead cross-functional initiatives to accelerate speed-to-market for new productsPresent product performance, investor trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadershipQualificationsRequired8–10+ years of mortgage industry experienceStrong background in capital markets, secondary marketing, underwriting or product strategyDeep knowledge of Agency, Government, Jumbo, and Non-QM productsStrong cross-functional leadership and communication skillsPreferredExperience managing investor relationshipsExperience launching new mortgage products or channelsMBA or advanced business/finance backgroundRevenue growth and margin expansionInvestor diversification and execution qualitySpeed and success of new product launchesOperational efficiency and post-closing performanceThe expected base salary for this position is between $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset.
