This role partners closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and external vendors to translate business outcomes into sound technical direction across multiple interconnected systems.This is a business-problem-driven technical role centered on shaping solution direction, guiding cross-system design, and ensuring reliable delivery within a highly integrated, vendor-supported environment that underpins group sales, booking, and hotel fulfillment workflows.Act as the primary technical partner for Groups & Events initiatives, working alongside Product Managers and Business Analysts to break down complex business problems into clear, executable technical directionTranslate business requirements related to group booking, housing, rooming lists, and hotel fulfillment into cohesive technical solutions across integrated platformsProvide technical leadership across vendor‑led and internal systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and integration standardsGuide system integration efforts across multiple technologies, validating design decisions for scalability, reliability, and long‑term maintainabilityDefine and support system testing strategies (including reliability, scalability, and maintainability), review outcomes, and ensure remediation actions are completedMonitor live environments and proactively identify, analyze, and resolve system issues in a structured and timely mannerSupport delivery planning by contributing to scope definition, dependency mapping, risk identification, and mitigation strategiesDefine, track, and report technical performance KPIs to support service level improvements and continuous optimizationServe as a technical advisor to cross‑functional stakeholders, clearly explaining trade‑offs, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiencesWhat You Will BringProven experience providing technical leadership in complex, enterprise‑scale environments with multiple integrated systemsStrong ability to synthesize business needs and guide solution design through influence rather than direct authorityExperience partnering closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts to shape and deliver integrated solutionsSound technical judgment and architectural thinking, with a strong focus on system stability, performance, and scalabilityComfort operating in ambiguity and evolving problem spaces, particularly in vendor‑supported delivery modelsClear, confident communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholdersOwnership mindset for end‑to‑end solution health, from design through production support and continuous improvementTechnical RequirementsSolid experience in software development and system integration environments, with the ability to assess design, integration patterns, testing approaches, and operational impactsStrong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integration patterns, and system lifecycle managementExperience supporting or leading systems that rely on multiple platforms, services, and third‑party vendorsAbility to design and monitor technical KPIs related to performance, reliability, and service levelsExperience guiding systems through full lifecycle phases: design, delivery, testing, deployment, stabilization, and optimizationDepth of technical knowledge sufficient to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and guide teams at the design and delivery levelNice to HaveExperience in hospitality, travel, or other high‑transaction, customer‑facing enterprise platformsExposure to global sales, booking, or event management ecosystemsTravelTravel - 10% limited as neededLocation – Atlanta, GAOur hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.Remuneration and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is $134,000 to $157,000.
