Production Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to support production by setting up, adjusting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, optimizing machine performance, and supporting continuous production flow.
Set-Up Technicians are responsible for assembling, calibrating, troubleshooting, and monitoring production equipment while ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform machine setups, changeovers, and tear-downs for production equipment
Calibrate and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and optimize performance
Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and technical drawings to ensure accurate configurations
Monitor machine operation during production and make real-time adjustments as needed
Conduct first-piece inspections and verify product quality using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or escalate to maintenance/engineering teams
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and tooling to minimize downtime
Set up and maintain tooling, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment
Document setup parameters, production data, and maintenance activities accurately
Train operators on machine setup procedures and standard operating practices
Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, GMP, ISO, and company safety standards
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

This is a permanent position based out of Summerville, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56150.00 - $56150.00/yr.
