Digital Production Assistant (P/T) - Knoe

KNOE is looking for a part-time digital production assistant to join our award-winning news team. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment. This position has potential for upward growth within the newsroom, and a flexible schedule is required. Applicants should be highly motivated and eager to learn how a news organization operates.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Editing video and sound for all KNOE multimedia platforms
Positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic environment under deadline pressure
Valid driver's license, as some local travel may be required
Writing and editing of digital stories
Occasional operation of studio teleprompter, streaming desk, and various other duties as assigned will be required
Qualifications/Requirements:
Creative, extremely detail-oriented, and have very strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills
Ability to work with a team
Strong grasp of visual design, grammar, and spelling
Positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic environment under deadline pressure
Able to work well with a team
Flexible to work mornings, nights, and weekends
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative
Able to sit and stand for extended periods. Able to climb and work on ladders and comfortably lift 30 pounds or more
Computer literacy is a must
Experience with HD video production, Ross Overdrive, and Vision switchers, Ross Xpression Graphics, NVerzion Master Control Automation, ENPS, and non-linear editing systems is a definite plus
