Overview
LocaliQ, part of USA TODAY NETWORK, recruits an Account Executive to build relationships with local businesses and support their advertising and digital marketing plans. The role involves partnering with clients to provide a broad set of solutions including website, SEO, local listings, reputation & social media, search engine marketing, social, display, video and mobile advertising, brand content solutions, social media marketing, lead alert, engagement and tracking tools, reporting, mobile tools, insights, and emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality.

Responsibilities

Build clients’ presence through website, SEO, local listings, reputation & social media.

Drive awareness & leads with search engine marketing, social, display, video, and mobile advertising.

Grow audience and connect via brand content solutions and social media marketing.

Manage leads and customers with lead alert, engagement and tracking tools.

Know what works with reporting, mobile tools, and insight solutions.

Explore emerging technology such as virtual and augmented reality.

Develop partnerships with local businesses and assist them in reaching goals through integrated marketing plans.

Identify customer needs to develop and execute account plans and custom client solutions.

Help businesses maximize online presence with a custom digital marketing approach.

Leverage USA TODAY NETWORK resources and partners to develop optimal client solutions.

Pursue and close new business and revenue streams.

Retain, manage, and grow clients in the ever‑changing digital landscape.

Work within a team to manage client relationship and account revenue.

Develop and execute sales strategies across multiple platforms.

Present suite of products to business decision makers.

Communicate proactively via phone, video conferencing, email, and in‑person.

Conduct face‑to‑face meetings, presentations, proposals and demonstrations.

Manage sales pipeline and develop a strategy for long‑term success.

Conduct client check‑ins, upsell/cross‑sell, and address client market share concerns.

Utilize Salesforce CRM efficiently and record all sales activity.

Qualifications

One year or more experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B sales or equivalent education and work experience.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Analytics certifications preferred). Not required.

Problem solver who thrives on challenges and simplifies complex issues.

Competitive nature and collaborative teamwork.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and minimum liability insurance as required by law.
