Base ($20-$28 per hour) Plus Commission
Budget Blinds of Mission Viejo is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to drive business growth. You will be the first point of contact for customers, introducing them to our window covering solutions.

Your responsibilities include generating leads, conducting cold calls, supporting Outside Sales staff, and helping customers through our consultative sales process. You will also collaborate with installers and manage our CRM system.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission and flexible scheduling, including partial remote work.

Responsibilities

Sales Generation:

Proactively generate leads and identify new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.

Engage with potential customers to understand their window covering needs and educate them about our products and services.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Business Development:

Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase market share.

Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers to foster long‑term partnerships.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify areas for business growth.

Self‑Sufficient Problem Solver:

Demonstrate excellent problem‑solving skills and resourcefulness to address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections.

Provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs, recommending appropriate window coverings and customization options.

Effectively communicate product features, benefits, pricing, and installation processes to customers.

Outside Sales Support:

Collaborate with the outside sales team, providing support as needed in areas such as scheduling appointments, preparing sales materials, and conducting follow‑up calls.

Assist in organizing and attending trade shows, events, and customer presentations to showcase our products and services.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics.

Phone Support:

Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.

Accurately record customer information, product preferences, and sales‑related details into the CRM system.

Provide follow‑up communication to ensure customer satisfaction and nurture ongoing relationships.

Qualifications

2 years of customer service / sales experience strongly preferred.

Strong cold calling skills with a track record of generating leads and closing sales.

Excellent, clean driving record, must pass background and drug test.

Experience with window coverings including drapery is helpful.

Excellent written / verbal correspondence skills.

Strong math skills.

Social media / marketing management is helpful.

Proficient in MS Office and other web‑based technologies (Dropbox, etc.).

Experience with a CRM is strongly preferred.

Must be able to climb stairs and lift 20lbs.

Previous experience with invoicing is helpful.

Honest, respectful, and service‑oriented required.
