What We Need:
We are seeking an Executive Producer / On-Air Talent for JAM’N 94-5. The ideal candidate would be an organized, driven, dynamic, Boston connected, Hip Hop obsessed, social media savvy, opinionated, pop culture conversationalist able to contribute and elevate on day one.

What You’ll Do:

Produce daily morning show including collaboration with host on content creation and execution, organization of show clocks, integration of content and music.

Guide content decisions based on your strong knowledge or interest in Hip Hop music and culture, general interest in pop culture, music, sports and relatable important news and information.

Serve as co-host, adding authentic and compelling perspective and knowledge to conversations with host and guests / callers.

Responsible for pre / post and in-show tasks like pulling audio actualities, booking guests, prepping callers for air, coordinating content both on air and social media.

Responsible for taking audio / video content and re-packaging on social media.

Working with Program Director to execute station related strategies.

Working with Program Director and Marketing Director to execute station contesting and marketing strategies.

Working with Digital Content Manager to develop and execute social / digital strategies.

Working with Sales management to execute sales-related tasks and strategies.

As needed, ideate new ways for the show and station to reach ratings and revenue goals.

What You’ll Need:

Strong knowledge or interest in Hip Hop music and culture, general interest in pop culture, music, sports and relatable important news and information.

Experience in broadcast production and on-air performance, either radio or audio experience or related communication experience.

Strong organizational skills and superb attention to detail.

Ability to deliver engaging, relatable, authentic personality on air and on social media.

Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.

Experience using audio and video production tools.

Expertise in social media strategies.
