Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland
This position works out of our region Saarbrücken, Trier in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life‑changing products that provide accurate data to drive better‑informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our diabetes care sales efforts in the Rheinland‑Pfalz and Saarland areas. You will drive profitable growth and achieve or exceed sales and market share targets while leading a high‑performing team.
Your Tasks
Achieve or overachieve sales and market share targets, KPIs as defined and drive profitable growth in the assigned region.
Lead a team of 8‑12 direct reports (Sales Representatives).
Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements.
Drive profitable revenue growth through volume, account and expense management, market share gain, and market and account analysis.
Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward.
Implement country product launches successfully.
Your Qualifications
Postgraduate diploma or University degree.
3‑5 years of leadership experience.
3‑5 years of experience in Pharma or Medical Device.
Strong knowledge of the competitive and diabetes technology landscape.
Proven ability to work as an RSM with KOLs in the Healthcare segment.
Fluent in German and good in English.
Experience leading high‑performance teams.
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
Very engaging, strong motivational.
